Ivy Jin
Also known as Yaqi Jin, NYU graduate in Music Business, Founder & CEO of LUMO Entertainment, Board Member of the China Pop Music Association- (Southwestern region).
She is a producer, music director, classical pianist, and jazz vocalist with a focus on live performance based in Los Angeles and New York City.
She served as a judge and artistic director of the Concert Star International Music Competition at Carnegie Hall, the OpusOne International Music Festival, the ICMA International Music Festival and the Shanghai International Youth Piano Competition, among others, and remains active in the forefront and behind the scenes of major international music festivals. She also serves as a judge and artistic advisor for The Voice of Heartbeat (NYC) , where she supports emerging vocalists through performance evaluation, artistic feedback, and community-based music opportunities.She has also served as a guest lecturer at Columbia University and Pepperdine University on her research topic, “Where Passion Meets Profession in the Music Industry”. With strong connections to distinguished music professors and musicians, she has achieved internationally recognized success in the fields of music related production, education and artistic research.
As both a performer and behind the scene leader, Her broader media and live performance experience includes recording for the first episode of Infinity and Beyond 2025: Chinese Music Season, expanding her professional perspective across televised music programs, live performance production, and Chinese-language popular music culture. She also has led many large-scale productions as lead producer and music director with her creative authority and musical sensitivity such as NYUGALA2025 at Apollo Theater and Today is the Day 2024 World Tour (CQ) by Andy Lau, etc, reaching audiences in the hundreds of thousands across concerts, music videos, films, and interdisciplinary performances. She has a comprehensive and professional foundation in music theory, production, and performance, which provides a solid and specialized support for her focus on live music business. This makes her a true behind-the-scenes leader with the mindset of a performer. She also supports many student associations, senior centers and education organizations as judge chair and performer in their music competitions and events.
Beyond her professional work, Ivy maintains close ties with the global economics and finance community. She has participated in high-level convenings, including the 2025 World Bank Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C. where she engaged in roundtable discussions with policy and industry leaders. She is deliberate about linking music, the arts, and cultural exchange with global economic development, and she offers informed perspectives on creative industries, soft power, and community impact. These experiences position her to contribute a distinct, interdisciplinary voice at the Meetings.
